Recruitment
As a trainee accountant your primary goal must be to pass the Final Qualifying Exam (FQE); You will write Part I of the FQE soon after getting your CTA or equivalent and Part II (Auditing Specialisation) after at least 18 months of practical training. You cannot afford to lose sight of this goal.
WE ARE RIGHT BEHIND YOU We will assist you by:
TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The day you qualify as a CA is the start of your learning .... but first you have to get there.
Technology and legislative changes in an ever-changing business environment have affected and will continue to affect our profession. Consequently continuous learning has become more important than ever. For example unless you become a lifelong student, new technology will develop so rapidly that your technical know-how will be obsolete in less than twelve months. We aim to keep you current so your CA really means something.
Our trainees follow a structured professional training course which will take about 16-20 days of formal training over the first two years, in addition to our in-house training sessions from time to time.
Our professionals also participate in the Continuing Professional Education programmes of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Performance review sessions give trainees the opportunity to discuss their progress through the integrated programme of formal and on-the-job training to ensure that they are developing both technical and interpersonal skills during their varied training.
